The training workshops on ‘Validation of prior tourism-related learning outcomes’ in Bulgaria were delivered face-to-face in small groups of max 8 participants in the Lead Partner’s (Varna Chamber of Commerce and Industry) premises in the period 17-25.11.2020 with the participation of 37 former NEETs. Most attractive to training participants was the occupation HOTEL FRONT DESK OFFICER, for which a total of 20 young people were validated. For the occupations TOURIST GUIDE, OPERATOR IN AMUSEMENT, RECREATION AND SPORT and WAITER, additional 17 former NEETs validated their existing skills and competences. All training participants received certificates for successfully completing the course and having their prior tourism-related learning outcomes on the respective occupation validated.
